Poetry Interviews

You are to interview a family member or teacher and ask a MINIMUM of 7 questions. You can, however, ask as many as you want. Some question ideas are below. Come to class on Wednesday ready with the answers. It will be graded.

1) Tell me about your first boy/girlfriend or your first kiss.
2) Tell me about one of your greatest struggles in life and how you've overcome it.
3) Tell me about your first heartbreak.
4) Have you ever been in a fist-fight? If so, tell me about it.
5) How did you end up where you are now? What has led you to this place in life?
6) What is your favorite song or type of music?
7) What has been your most enduring friendship? What qualities does that person have?
8) What is your viewpoint of people in general? Who are you drawn to and who drives you crazy?
9) What is your viewpoint of teenagers today?
10) What countries have you been to? Good and bad? Favorite one?
11) What was your first concert?
12) When was the first time you experienced death?
13) What is your saddest moment? How did you get through it?
14) What is your happiest or proudest moment? Why?

Remember, if you correctly use your vocabulary words in your narrative, you will get extra points. The words are:
Flamboyant, Apprehensive, Fervor, Skeptical, Apathetic, Antiquated

Personal Narrative Rubric

Be ready to finish up your FINAL DRAFT of your personal narratives. Bring your computers if you have them. They must be typed and in proper format. The rubric is below for reference:
