Easy   Choose two.   25 points a piece   Due May 19th and May 22nd	Create a vocabulary test using words from the book. (Use words you didn’t really know prior to reading them. Minimum of 20. Supply an answer key.)	Write a plot summary that might be found on a book jacket and create a Book Cover (Minimum of ¾ page typed.)	Write a detailed description for each major character. (Minimum of 3: looks, personality, and role in the book.)
Medium   Choose two   50 points a piece   Due May 28th Due June 4th	Create a detailed NNE chart, with a focus on the effect- E (Minimum of 20 different elements)	Choose a theme song for your book. Write a one page analysis comparing the song and your book.	Interview a character from your book. Write at least ten questions and answers that will give the character the opportunity to discuss his/her thoughts and feelings about his/her role in the story. (Be insightful and thorough)
Difficult   Choose one.   150 points   Due June 11th	Write a rhetorical analysis essay: What was the overall message of your book, and how did the author use rhetorical devices to convey this message?	Choose one of the characters and write a sequel revolved around their life. (Minimum of two pages and in the same spirit of your original book.)	Write an analytical compare and contrast essay about the protagonist and antagonist from your book. Use text evidence to demonstrate their connection, roles, similarities, and differences.
Creative   100 points   Due June 18th	Create a music video for your book. It must be symbolically and thematically linked and very-well edited. (A brief written explanation is also required.)	Write and perform and SLAM poem about your book. It needs to be delivered with emotion and passion. It must be a minimum of 40 lines. OR…. Paint a large, original painting of a character, action or scene from the book. Quality is a must. ** For both choices, a written explanation is required.***	Write and record an original song revolved around the characters and/or storyline of your book. You must submit the written and recorded portion, along with a brief analysis connecting the two.
