After being assigned a quote, write what it means in your own words. Work alone on this for 5 minutes.

 

With your partners, compare and contrast your meanings and come up with one shared meaning that you all agree on. Discuss as a group when something like this has taken place in your own life or in someone else’s life.

 

Split off into two, and work together to write a scene from a play where this occurs. It must be 2 pages long, and you will “act” it out in class.
